Tess Marie Quilting & Rhinebeck West
Hey-loooo Sew Together Community!!!
We have some big changes and exciting happenings going on at The Lounge.
In case you haven't been to the shop lately to drop-off a quilt for longarming, you may not know that our own talented Tess Holland is officially taking over the longarm portion of the business and continuing as Tess Marie Quilting.
She will be moving our Innova longarm, "Xena, LongArm Warrior Princess", to her new home at
The Hawthorne Art Complex on Friday, October 11th.
Tess is taking in quilts at the shop until Friday. Her schedule is filling up fast, so give her a call, visit her website: www.tessmariequilting.com or check-in with her on Instagram @tessmariequilting
to secure your spot and get those holiday quilts finished!
I'm so excited for her and know she will make her business a big success!
On October 19th and 20th The Knitting Tree, LA will be hosting the a fab new event called
It's a weekend filled with vendors, a food truck, the Yarnover Truck &
general fiber fun and frivolity!!!
Sew Together will be celebrating too, with our fabrics, notions, books and patterns, all 35% off.
Our 35% sale will continue right through
our closing day on October 27th.
Yep, I did just slip that in there at the end of the newsletter.
Sew Together Lounge will close its brick and mortar store at the end of the month.
I know I've said it before: I'm closing and I'm going to take some time off--
but this time I'm really gonna do it!
After a bit of a vacation I will be available for private lessons, group & individual, focused on quilting. I'll keep the shop phone number and the website, so we can stay in touch. Please feel free to reach out. I will miss you guys and other than not seeing all of you in the shop, I'm very excited about this.
This was a choice, not a have-to, and I'm looking forward to
spending time with my family, with Otto, and doing my own work.
I've loved being your local fabric store!
We've had a wonderful summer "rooming" with The Knitting Tree, LA, and can't thank them enough for one last, fun filled season of laughter, community and fiber arts. I hope you will join us for Rhinebeck West and support Annette and all the fiber artists at the festival. It's going to be great fun and I'm really looking forward to it and to seeing YOU there!
Warmly and with big thanks,
Victoria, Tess, Eliza and Otto the shop pup
